GOOD DEEDS RESOURCES

The Good Deeds Program is a public service brought to you by the Franklin County Clerk of Courts, the Franklin County Recorder, and the Franklin County Probate Court designed to present an overview of simple and cost-effective steps that you may take to avoid the probate process.  Planning for the future helps make your wishes known and can save both time and money.

Information for Nonlawyers

 Legal practice in the courts is restricted by law to attorneys who are licensed by the Ohio Supreme Court. Due to the complexity of the law, most individuals who have business with the court are represented by an attorney.
Court staff is prohibited by statute from giving legal advice.  


The following resources are provided to help you where court staff cannot. 

To obtain the appraised market value of Real Estate:

  • Must have the VIN/Serial (Vehicle Identification Number) or the Certificate number
